Residents of the West Village Blame Christine Quinn for Doing Nothing to Restore a Full-Service Hospital at the Former Site of St. Vincent's Hospital.
One activist brought a funny poster to yesterday's St. Vincent's rally. The poster lampooned a recent hissy-fit that the city council speaker had, over the use of courtesy titles at a press conference. Last month, in an act of retaliation against a reporter from The New York Daily News, who reported that Speaker Quinn had been sued four times for not paying her rent, the Madame Speaker publicly humiliated Erin Einhorn after Ms. Einhorn referred to Speaker Quinn as ''Ma'am.''
